check out (the beginning of) my trexi collection! =D i got this yesterday at a 'toy' shop located at wheelock... hee... its one of the series one of the trexi toy... this particular one is called m13 by jeremey madi from usa... it comes wif a skateboard for it to stand on... hee...



and this is the other one that i got... its frm series two... slightly different... this is by pinglet from melbourne... i'm most prob also going to get the coke mystery one.. only 500pcs sold worldwide... and it will cost a lovely $45... sigh... ahahah but its totally funky... definite must get lor... =P

post-weekend shennagins...

a wonderful sight in sunny singapore... gelatissimo juz opened over the weekend (albeit a pretty wet one...) and i couldn't resist and had to go down to check it out (you know.. make sure the taste was correct and all.. hahaha)

considering i juz partied till two plus on friday (all i will say is that i don't like flaming lamboginis, and sex on the beach - the drink okay - long island tea and vodka ribena is nice... and always good to drink sky juice at the end of the night...) pulling myself out of my house was a challenge... ahahah i had a mini-hangover till fourish the next day...

anyway.. met up wif my babe and we went out for a quick lunch at bugis before he had to go meet up wif potential clients (freelance mah) at orchard... initially i din wan to go wif him.. but after hearing that he was meeting them at gelatissimo.. i couldn't resist... mwwaahahahahahaha... so popped by orchard (packed!!) and went to the store located at shaw tower/centre/lido there...

forgot that you had to pay before buying.. ahahha... but anyway... ordered a scoop of the ferrero rocher icecream.. which was kinda soft... =/ prob too much opening and closin of the doors... nonetheless the taste was still the same... exactly like how i remembered... yumz~

went to mango... found a few tops to try out.. ended up buyin one (wanted to get jeans but they were sixty and over... and i dun hv money now... =P) den met up wif him again for a short while (he went to a gathering.. i went home) and we went back to gelatissimo to order more gelato! for him of coz...

he got two fruit flavours.. and it's EXACTLY the same.. =D their mango is very good.. superb... and the blood orange is fantastic too... they really have very good fruit gelatos... hee...



so here's my recommendations for gelato flavours:
gelatissimo (at shaw/lido) - gotta try their mango, blood orange and i heard guava is good too... yumz... some of their non-fruit flavours are good too... ermz.. can't rem those.. ahahah

bravissimo (at tangs) - d24 durian ice cream... super hands down on that... they use real durian okay... =P~~~ and their bon bon rocher icecream is good too! never tried their fruit ones tho...

yes i only eat gelato frm these two places... (restaurant ones not counted) coz they're good wif quality and taste, though they cost a bit more... they juz make u feel so much better... hee...

*and i got my xmas pressie frm babe! its the projectshop bag i saw two weeks back!! =D thanks dear.. eheheh... will blog separately abt that*

Instead of that bullshit, how about:

If a woman is drunk, don't rape her. If a woman is walking alone at night, don't rape her. If a women is drugged and unconscious, don't rape her. If a woman is wearing a short skirt, don't rape her. If a woman is jogging in a park at 5AM, don't rape her. If a woman looks like your ex-girlfriend you're still hung up on, don't rape her. If a woman is asleep in her bed, don't rape her. If a woman is asleep in your bed, don't rape her. If a woman is doing her laundry, don't rape her. If a woman is in a coma, don't rape her. If a woman changes her mind in the middle of or about a particular activity, don't rape her. If a woman has repeatedly refused a certain activity, don't rape her. If a woman is not yet a woman, but a child, don't rape her. If your girlfriend or wife is not in the mood, don't rape her. If your step-daughter is watching TV, don't rape her.

If you break into a house and find a woman there, don't rape her. If your friend thinks it's okay to rape someone, tell him it's not, and that he's not your friend. If your "friend" tells you he raped someone, report him to the police. If your frat-brother or another guy at the party tells you there's an unconscious woman upstairs and it's your turn, don't rape her, call the police and report him as a rapist.

Tell your sons, god-sons, nephews, grandsons, and sons of friends that it's not okay to rape someone.

Don't just tell your women friends how to be safe and avoid rape. Don't imply that she could have avoided it if she'd only done/not done x, y, or z. Don't imply that it's in any way her fault. Don't let silence imply agreement when someone tells you he "got some" with the drunk girl. Don't perpetuate a culture that tells you that you have no control over or responsibility for your actions. You can too help yourself. Rape is not about sex, it's about control and power, and what kind of power comes from taking advantage of others? No power anyone should ever desire.

she's my company's resident "cutie"... well i think pork chop is a she lah.. but some of my colleagues feel its more of a 'he'... hahaha... i put this pic up coz now there's the voting for the weblog awards and all those nominated seemed to be doing some election campaigning wif cute or pretty photos of humans and animals... i know i'm not in anyway nominated but juz to play along.. ahahahah... ;)

anyway... i haven't post anything up for close to a month coz i'm a lazy bugger... had two events to help out back to back and by the time i'm off work on usual days.. i'm juz a bit sianz to blog abt stuff... plus the fact my sis was hogging the comp to do her projects, chat and surf... now i've my comp back (yay!) coz she's got her own laptop so perhaps i will post more again... hehehe...

yup its tofu oyako!! incidentally... tofu oyako means tofu mother and child when its in the 'chinese' spelling of jap... went to designEdge last month and juz as i was lamenting the fact there didn't seem to be anything that's worth my 35bucks entry... (the design talk thingy was good) i noticed a queue forming at the tofu booth... which i tot it was for the tofu chops which they were 'chopping' initially...

so piqued by the long q and the tot that 'maybe it could be a signing...' i went up to the front to check it out.. and yes i was right!! one of the artistes frm devilrobots was there!!! AUTOGRAPHY SESSION!!! (see i'm a fan girl...)

i quickly made my way to the back of the q and whipped out my tofu postcards which i had bought earlier (for 8bucks each!! ouch) and waited excitedly... hahaha and it was a damn long wait... close to 45mins... sigh... but it was cool... the designer was very polite and signed on all the cards i had... =D

okies... something that got me excited this month... my lovely, super duper huge capacity lacie hdd!!!! 200gb!!! woo hoo!! i'm damn happy coz my home comp is running out of space... 40gb three years ago seemed like alot.. but now... its not enough for all my programs and files and stuff... so i went and bought this thing of beauty... sigh...



gorgeously designed by F.A.Porsche... my bf was so envious when he saw it... i felt a bit bad... =P but its mine!!! my preciousssssss....

this is my favourite gelato shop in australia... i was very sad when i first returned to sg to find no gelato shop (until bravissimo at tangs which is very good) and now some kind soul who went to aussie have actually brought it into SG!! *bliss* they were the first shop that introduced me to never-ending testing of interesting flavours and my housemate and i used to be so tempted everytime we go to the city that we never fail to buy a cup home (sometimes had to resist lah...) it'll be located at the lido building... opening in december for xmas was their tag... *beams*
